Instructions

Complete this nomination form in its entirety and submit no later than Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Winners will be featured in the Reno Gazette-Journal and honored Wednesday, February 16, at NCET’s 11th Annual Dinner.

All entries must be submitted online via this submission form.

Eligibility

To be eligible to receive an award, the following criteria must be met:

Nominee must be an owner/manager of a private or public company, be primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company, and an active member of top management.
If the nominee is a partner in the company, he/she most hold at least 51 percent ownership.
The company’s main operations must be centered in the Northern Nevada or Eastern Sierra region, which includes the counties of Washoe, Douglas, Lyon, Storey, Pershing, Mineral, and Churchill, as well as Carson City.

Judging

The judging criteria, managed by the Reno Gazette-Journal, includes an assessment of entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, innovation, personal integrity, as well as financial performance of the company, strategic direction, and company growth as reflected in the information and comments shared on this nomination form.

The decisions of the judges are final.
